Liberty Head Women’s Basketball Coach Carey Green did not have to look very far to fill out his 2013-14 coaching staff. Brittany Campbell, who wrapped up her playing career for the Lady Flames in 2012-13, will remain a part of the program as an assistant coach.
A four-year team captain, Campbell is the first former Lady Flame to serve as an assistant coach at her alma mater since Tiffany Ratcliff in 1998-99. She replaces Heather Stephens, who stepped down recently after spending 10 seasons (2003-04 through 2012-13) on the Lady Flames’ staff.
