Employees for Liberty University’s online education program have a new home, for now at least.
University officials say they’ve transitioned the online operations into the former Sears store at River Ridge Mall.
About 675 employees have moved to that location. This follows about five weeks of renovations to the Sears building.
Besides the online operations, the space will also be used for a television studio for the School of Communication & Creative Arts.
Liberty has proposed making the site a regional civic center in the future.
