Liberty University accused in violating telephone consumer protection laws in lawsuit

Liberty University faces allegations of violating consumer protection laws after a woman reportedly received a number of “robocalls” from the university over the course of a month.

A lawsuit filed in the Western North Carolina District Court says a woman registered her number with the National Do Not Call Registry on March 12.
