The nation’s top-scoring Freshman is headed to play for Duke.

The Blue Devils who lost in the Sweet 16 this week wasted no time offering the high scoring guard a scholarship to add depth to its back court in the future.

Curry will sit out next season for the Blue Devils and be eligible to take the court during the 2010-2011 season.

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee will address the economic challenges facing faith-based organizations at Thomas Road Baptist Church on Sunday, and Monday at Liberty University’s student convocation.

Seth Curry, LU’s basketball star, has been contacted by Virginia Tech, a school familiar to him.

His father, Dell Curry, starred at Virginia Tech in the 1980s.

The Curry brothers’ parents are Sonya and Dell Curry, both Virginia Tech graduates. The boys grew up as Tech fans and the Hokies’ failure to sign them has been an ongoing subplot during their careers.

According to WSET, VP of Student Affairs, Mark Hine, found some inaccuracies in Kevin Roose’s book, “The Unlikely Disciple”:

“There were some what I believe inaccuracies, things that just were not… quotes that were attributed to Dr. Falwell that in the 30 years I have been here, I never heard him say.”

WSET spoke with the author’s publicist and said they by what he wrote.  Hine also said he liked some of it, but found parts disheartening.

The book is about an unlikely Liberty student exploring an institution with different values.

Kevin Roose’s book about going to Liberty University will be on LU Bookstore shelves, according to Roose’s twitter. It also mentioned it was decided on a 3-1 vote.
