Other notable G5 teams include Boise State (#32), James Madison (#34), and Memphis (#35). In 2023, Liberty represented G5 in the New Year&#8217;s Six, finishing 13-1 and winning the Conference USA championship. With QB Kaidon Salter and RB Quinton Cooley returning, expectations are high despite defensive veteran losses. Liberty kicks off their 2024 season against Campbell Camels and are favored for the Conference USA crown.
