Liberty University has agreed to relinquish the FCC license for its student-run radio station, WQLU(FM), and pay a $10,000 fine to resolve an investigation by the FCC into Liberty’s operation of the station and statements Liberty made to the FCC about the station’s operations.<\/p>\n

According to the Consent Decree between LU and the Media Bureau of the FCC, LU admitted to violations in regard to operating the station at a variance of its licensed parameters and making incorrect statements about the station’s operations to the FCC.<\/p>\n
