Weather has delayed Liberty University’s football team’s first home game. Construction on the re-modeled stadium is behind schedule, and the field won’t be ready in time.<\/p>\n

Williams stadium is in the middle of a 16-million-dollar remodel. It\u2019s adding 72 hundred new seats, a new press box and concession stand and an up-scale dining facility.<\/p>\n

The deadline is now pushed to the second home game on October 2. The first home game on September 4, will be now played at Lynchburg City Stadium.<\/p>\n

Tickets for that September 4 game will be $5 to the general public. Shuttle busses will bring the university students to the city stadium.<\/p>\n
