Lynchburg approve the plan for a series of improvements such as crosswalks on Wards Road, which is not a place for pedestrians.<\/p>\n

The first phase of the plan alone is tentatively expected to cost around $1 million. City Officials are looking for grant money for that.<\/p>\n

LU’s goal for a pedestrian tunnel will eventually happen. It will empty out directly behind the Vitamin Shoppe store.<\/p>\n

The first road project is a lighted crosswalk between Vitamin Shoppe and Sam\u2019s Club. The tunnel construction is expected to begin next year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
