Liberty University is trying to work on a proposal that would end the school\u2019s official endorsement of all political campus clubs.<\/p>\n
The proposal would categorize political clubs as unofficial clubs, which would not receive money from the university, but would still be able to use the university\u2019s name.<\/p>\n
Unofficial clubs will now be able to use the school\u2019s master calendar system to take advantage of the school\u2019s facilities.<\/p>\n
Formerly, unofficial clubs were relegated to areas such as dorm rooms, student centers and the dining hall.
\nUnofficial clubs that choose to sponsor a candidate whose stance is contrary to the mission of the school, would be denied use of the school\u2019s main facilities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
