{"id":301,"date":"2009-04-28T10:19:23","date_gmt":"2009-04-28T15:19:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.libertystudentnews.com\/?p=1063"},"modified":"2009-04-29T02:13:07","modified_gmt":"2009-04-29T07:13:07","slug":"moon-case-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.libertystudentnews.com\/?p=301","title":{"rendered":"Moon case revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span id=\"article_font\"><span id=\"article_font\">In a bond hearing Monday in Lynchburg General District Court, Assistant Commonwealth\u2019s Attorney Rebecca Wetzel said prosecutors\u2019 evidence shows Moon touched the student\u2019s genitals during a massage.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The student was taking a test in Moon\u2019s office, Wetzel said. Because she suffered headaches and backaches, he offered to give her a massage after the test.<\/p>\n<p>She lay down on the floor, and Moon began the massage, Wetzel said. The student fell asleep. When she awoke, Moon was touching her genitals, Wetzel said.<\/p>\n<p>Wetzel said prosecutors\u2019 evidence shows Moon had previously given the student massages at her home on campus.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"article_font\">Authorities allege the incident occurred April 21; he was charged two days later.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Moon was  granted a $25,000 secured bond Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Joshua Young Moon, of Durham, N.C., taught mathematics at LU.
