LU recently raised concerns over possibly getting shortchanged on its share of federal and state subsidies provided to Greater Lynchburg Transit Co. (GLTC) and asked the transit system to revise its billing formula, newsadvance.com<\/em> reported. The university also said the system\u2019s charges were rising too quickly.<\/p>\n

LU officials and GLTC board members agreed to work on a simpler approach to determine costs.<\/p>\n
