{"id":1076,"date":"2012-01-03T15:28:46","date_gmt":"2012-01-03T20:28:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.libertystudentnews.com\/?p=1076"},"modified":"2012-01-03T15:29:26","modified_gmt":"2012-01-03T20:29:26","slug":"liberty-university-philosophy-professor-makes-christianity-todays-top-books-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.libertystudentnews.com\/?p=1076","title":{"rendered":"Liberty University Philosophy Professor Makes Christianity Today\u2019s Top Books List"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A book by a Liberty University philosophy professor has been selected for Christianity Today\u2019s list of <a id=\"yui_3_3_0_33_1325622369679453\" title=\"Liberty University world's largest Christian university\" href=\"http:\/\/us.lrd.yahoo.com\/SIG=12qal09cr\/EXP=1326831967\/**http%3A\/\/www.christianitytoday.com\/ct\/2012\/january\/2012-book-awards.html\">top books of 2011<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_3_0_33_1325622369679229\">\u201cGood God: The Theistic Foundations of Morality,\u201d by Dr. David Baggett, with co-author Jerry Walls, a senior research fellow at Notre Dame, was the top pick in the Apologetics\/Evangelism category.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_3_0_33_1325622369679226\">Published by Oxford University Press, the book shows that the moral argument for God\u2019s existence is powerful.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_3_0_33_1325622369679238\">According to Christianity Today, &#8220;This book mounts a strong case that the argument for belief in God on the basis of morality \u2014 so widely effective in C. S.
