The opening of the new Liberty University pedestrian bridge over Wards Road will not open for at least one more week.
It was originally scheduled for completion this week, but work has fallen behind schedule. The school says it’s also still waiting for a building inspector to give it the go-ahead.
Officials plan to meet on Monday to decide a new target date for opening.
