Virginia Tobacco Commission Approves $12 Million Grant for LU Medical School

The Virginia Tobacco Commission has approved a $12 million matching grant for Liberty University to expand its academic offerings in health sciences, which includes establishing a medical school.

The Lynchburg-based university announced the move in a news release today.

The new center will be built in Campbell County near Lynchburg Regional Airport.
