There is a proposal to make the Liberty University campus its own voting precinct.
The registrar’s office and Lynchburg electoral board have recommended the Vines Center as a potential voting place for students.
The new precinct would be for LU students only. Supporters of the proposal say it will take the pressure off a precinct that at times was overwhelmed by the influx of students.
