Lynchburg Council unanimously green-lighted a proposal to build a pedestrian bridge over Wards Road in partnership with Liberty University.
The bridge, which is already under design, will stretch from Sam’s Club to Panera Bread, tying into a new pedestrian tunnel that LU also plans to build this year.
