The Liberty Flames are gearing up for their first home football game on Saturday, with new amenities to enhance the fan experience. The newly constructed parking garage at the corner of Candlers Mountain Road and University Boulevard will open, providing 1,500 parking spaces, multiple elevators, and EV charging stations. Dan Deter, the senior VP of construction and facilities management, stated the garage is designed to meet both current and future needs. Flames Fest will be open to all visitors, featuring activities like team walks, inflatables, and lawn games. Robert Goodman, senior associate athletics director, emphasized the family-friendly atmosphere, noting that pre-season ticket sales are the second highest to date this year.
