LU’s Tom Clark was promoted to defensive coordinator in a restructuring of the coaching staff.
Clark, in his sixth season, assisted with Liberty’s linebackers last year. He will oversee the secondary along with his defensive coordinator duties.
In addition, Wally Ake has moved from secondary coach to linebackers coach and Marshall Roberts will serve as special teams coordinator and assistant secondary coach. Levern Belin will remain the defensive line coach and Manny Rojas will continue as the assistant linebackers coach.
