The former LU student on trial for murder in Maine tells the judge he will not take the stand in his own defense.
Closing arguments are expected Thursday in the Chad Gurney murder trial.
Gurney is accused of strangling his girlfriend, cutting off her head and setting her body on fire in 2009.
His attorneys are claiming insanity as his defense.
The defense argues Gurney was never the same after that crash.
