Due to DC metro travel restrictions and guidance from event organizers, Liberty University canceled its trip for students to attend the “March for Israel” event in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, according to an LU official.
“This is very disappointing and certainly we tried all that we could to get buses into the city. It was a major deviation from what we do in annual the March for Life and what typical travel and security protocols are in place. We have not changed our minds at all about supporting Israel publicly and in meaningful ways as a university. There will be many more opportunities,” an LU official said.
