Liberty golfer and Jefferson Forest graduate Isaac Simmons will be competing among the best in the world at the 123rd United States Open Championship next week.
Simmons qualified for the U.S. Open at the Woodmont County Club in Rockville, Maryland, shooting two rounds of 69 and totaling a 36-hole score of 138, which included ten birdies. The Flames junior locked up one of four open spots in the 60-player field.
