The 19,200 seat complex is set to open this weekend for a game against Savannah State.
The new, five-story tower and seating were supposed to be done in time for LU’s home opener in August. Last winter’s heavy snow pushed everything back.
Over the next five years, LU plans to add an upper deck on the student side of the stadium. A horseshoe will then connect the two sides in the endzone
