“Liberty University will not tolerate Title IX violations, sexual abuse or sexual assault in any form at any time.”
That’s the message Liberty University President Jerry Prevo is trying to convey after media coverage of a Title IX lawsuit alleging the school “enabled on-campus rapes” and suppressed complaints of sexual assault and rape.
According to Scott Lamb’s complaint, during a meeting on Oct. 4, he “expressed dismay over the direction of the University and concern that the University had strayed so far from its original mission.”
