More than 400 Liberty University students have signed a petition calling for the Falkirk Center to be shut down.
The Center is a conservative think-tank created by former University president Jerry Falwell, Jr. and right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.
The petition organizer says that the University aligning itself with a political movement goes against the school’s founding principals.
This is the plea of current students at Liberty University making this petition: “We are not signing this out of a desire to spite the Falkirk Center, but out of a desire to regain what the Falkirk Center has tarnished: the integrity of Liberty University.”
