Liberty University removed videos of evangelical author and speaker John Piper from its website after the well-known pastor wrote a blog post that was seen as critical of President Donald Trump.
According to Christianity Today, Piper and Southern Baptist Convention President J.D. Greear recorded a video conversation with David Nasser, Liberty’s senior vice president for spiritual development, in mid-October. The two resulting videos were posted online about a week later.
What a terrible and weak decision by Liberty. Meanwhile a recent Ted Cruz convocation remains up. https://t.co/MI0kvsfkKh

. @JohnPiper told @LibertyU students in a video that they should focus their lives on Jesus. Then he criticized @POTUS's sins and the video was erased. https://t.co/9Rt82WNE8V

It seems that Christian Universities are following the pattern of Hollywood and other high profile elitists by “cancelling” what they do not agree with. I thought education taught us to discuss our differences and shed light on a subject by looking at both sides. I guess that is a thing of the past.
