The ASUN Conference has delayed its fall college athletics season Friday until Sept. 18. due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the ASUN tweet, the conference will make its next evaluation on whether or not a shortened ASUN regular season, and subsequent ASUN championship competition, is viable this fall no later than August 6.
ASUN sponsors five championships in the fall for men’s and women’s cross county, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball.
The ASUN includes college teams from FGCU, Bellarmine University, Jacksonville University, Kennesaw State University, Liberty University, Lipscomb University, University of North Alabama, University of North Florida and Stetson University.
