Liberty University has told the city to hold off with the tunnel project that connects the Univerisity to the Wards Road shopping area and seek other low-cost alternatives. One is building a bridge instead.
Liberty hasn’t gotten permission yet from the railroad people to build a tunnel underneath them. Even if they do decide to do it, construction begins until 2011!
Do you guys prefer a bridge or tunnel?
I could care less whether it’s a bridge or a tunnel, I just wish they’d have had an easier way to cross Wards Rd before I graduated. At least they’re trying…
