This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. So many students have been to CPAC in the past and benefitted from it. Just because a gay rights group co-sponorsed this year the school is pulling out? Liberty University taught me for 7 years and I am ashamed to tell people that I went there!! I pray for the day that Liberty stops treating other people with such disrespect! Us in the GLBT community are loved by Christ and many of us love Christ! Just because we love differently than other people doesn’t make us any less a person! I hope that Liberty can open there eyes and see that!! There are so many students afraid of who they are because of being at Liberty…I was one of them!

??? Someone told me this was a good place to get LU news ??? Sounds like it’s more a place for the Gay community to grind an ax with God. LU has taught me for many years, too and I’m proud of the stand they take (you know, the BIBLICAL one?) !!

Maybe, if you don’t LIKE LU you should pick a DIFFERENT SCHOOL! As for the rest of us (you know, the other 99.99% of the Student Body), WE STAND WITH LIBERTY ON THIS ONE!

It’s bigoted, targeted hatred like this that really contradicts the “loving, caring God” that people try to preach about.

Discrimination is wrong, Jesus taught to love and accept each other. He wanted people to praise the positives in their fellow men and women. I don’t know of a single passage where Jesus condemns someone (or even a group of people) unless they were bringing harm to another group.

I’m just happy with the knowledge that by the rules you yourself outline you’ll have a special place in Hell to occupy. This is even worse for the “teachers” at your university, the false leaders who teach hatred and discrimination under the guise of theistic superiority.

I’ll go hang out with my caring, uplifting GLBT friends who are far more warmer and caring than 90% of the “christians” I’ve met. I’m pretty sure that an all-knowing God can look into the hearts of men and see who has more hatred and corruption, the gays or the people who persecute them. Unless I’m mistaken God has shown a soft spot for persecuted groups in the past. ^_^

tl;dr – Enjoy your fire, hateful Christians. (This doesn’t apply to the minority of Christians who actually use the brain God gave them.)
