Moon is going before a Grand Jury

AP:

A judge has ruled there is enough evidence against a former Liberty University professor accused of a sex crime to send the charge to a grand jury for consideration.

The ruling came Wednesday after a preliminary hearing in Lynchburg General District Court for Joshua Young Moon on a charge of object sexual penetration by force.

The conservative Christian school fired Moon after he was charged in April with the crime involving 1 of his students.

The student, a rising senior, says she took a statistics class from Moon.

She testified that Moon gave her pressure-point massages several times for chronic pain she suffered from a car wreck. She says she fell asleep once and awoke to find Moon touching her inappropriately.

The grand jury meets July 6.

Does anyone find it odd that this story is different than anything the ACTUAL news has covered? Not to mention the fact that none of it even makes sense. Including what the last commenter said. He’s not even from China! While I would not be surprised that a girl at this school would do something as stupid as what this article (or the real one for that matter) says she did, there are so many inconsistencies it should be laughed out of court. I would like to see this case tried someplace where Liberty doesn’t own all the lawyers and judges.
LU News – You may have “broke news” since 2006 as your intro about yourself says, but your breaking news here sounds quite a bit off. Even for how outrageous the original allegations are. Better luck next time.
