Two LU football players investigated for alleged sexual assault

An investigation of reported sexual assault involving Liberty University has led to two current students and one former student responsible of violating university policies.

Back in July, the university received a report of an alleged sexual assault that happened off-campus in August 2015. Liberty worked with the Commonwealth’s attorney and the Lynchburg Police Department to conduct a Title IX investigation.

During a hearing on September 8th, Cameron Jackson and Kyle Carrington, both current students, were found responsible for violating the honor code and the policy on sexual assault. Avery James, a former student, has also been found responsible for the same violations.
