Liberty University School of Law ranked number one among all Virginia law schools for the July bar exam. While Liberty University once scored the highest bar pass rate for the February exam, this is the first time since the law school was founded in 2004 that it ranked number one in the July bar exam.
Liberty University School of Law first-time takers on the July bar exam passed by a rate of 93.33 percent. Coming in second place was Washington & Lee University at 91.49 and the University of Virginia at 89.58. The remaining law schools in order of pass rates were the College of William & Mary, University of Richmond, George Mason University, Regent University, and Appalachian University.
