Ron Paul at Liberty

It was a good stump speech, his points were good and well presented. Paul spoke for about an hour to a mostly enthusiastic crowd.  He brought his message of small government and fiscal responsibility, while adding references to his Christian faith and pro-life stance on abortion.  He suggested the U.S. withdraw from the United Nations, and abolish both the Department of Education and national income tax.

Afterwards many students that I spoke with were confused as to why the MSM characterizes him as a lunatic, because they found him to very likable and intelligent. Also, his staffers were collecting signatures for a Ron Paul presidential run in Virginia. They talked as if he will be on the ballot no matter what.
