Former Monticello High School football star Mike Brown is the new running backs coach at Liberty University, the school announced on Friday.
Brown, who played collegiately at Liberty after a standout high school career at Monticello, will take over the assistant coach position held by former Flames associate head coach and running backs coach Ron Brown, who is leaving the program to explore other future opportunities.
