Liberty University will be having a grand opening ceremony for the new Liberty Athletics Center Friday at 3 p.m.
The new facility is behind Osborne Stadium and the Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex near the baseball stadium.
The university says the new facility is designed to be the central hub for Liberty Athletics and will include an Olympic sports weight room and a training facility for short- and long- term rehabilitation of the NCAA Division I athletes.
