Liberty University is charging full steam ahead into the land of big-time college football. This summer it opened its new $29 million dollar indoor practice facility. The 95,000 square-foot facility sits adjacent to Williams Stadium. It features a curved roof with a 70-foot clearance and Astro Turf. The facility will pay dividends when inclement weather moves into the area, but perhaps more importantly, the recent addition will be a crucial part of the Flames’ recruiting efforts.
