Liberty University vice president named top executive of the local Better Business Bureau

The vice president for university outreach and strategic partnerships at Liberty University has been named the top executive at the Better Business Bureau of Central Virginia.

Barry N. Moore will become president and chief executive officer of the local BBB effective July 17, the organization’s board announced Monday morning.

He replaces Thomas Gallagher, who is retiring after leading the nonprofit business group for 35 years. Gallagher will serve as a consultant as president emeritus for the remainder of the year to help with a smooth transfer of leadership.
