FOREST, Va. (WDBJ7) It’s official: Liberty University is buying The Center for Advanced Engineering and Research (CAER).
The university plans to move its School of Engineering and Computational Sciences to the property, which it purchased for $4.3 million. It’s located along Route 460.
The purchase is intended to further the goal of becoming a major research university.
Construction will begin as soon as possible to expand the site.
