Western Michigan women’s soccer head coach Nate Norman has resigned to accept the head coaching position at Liberty University.
Norman was formerly Western Michigan’s women soccer team coach.
Norman ends his tenure at Western Michigan with a 44-27-23 record overall, a 21-13-9 record in MAC play and a stunning 8-1 record in the MAC Tournament. In 2013 he coached the Broncos to the biggest upset in NCAA Women’s College Cup history as WMU upset second-seeded Marquette. Under Norman student-athletes have earned All-MAC honors 15 times and have earned Academic All-MAC honors 43 times.
