US News & World Report:
Liberty University is one of a growing number of aviation programs offering aeronautics bachelor’s degrees to respond to the industry’s increasing qualification demands for pilots, says Ernie Rogers, an associate professor at Liberty’s school of aeronautics.
When the program began four years ago, it served only pilots from the Army or regional airlines who had completed their flying requirements and needed to take only academic course work. A sample of courses includes high-speed aerodynamics, multiengine theory and aviation weather.
