An 18-year-old is facing murder charges for the death of a Reginald “Shay” Nicholson. 18-year-old Zackery Turner from Charlottlesville is charged with first-degree. Harrisonburg police are now calling it a homicide investigation. Nicholson died at the University of Virginia Medical Center after fighting for life for nearly two weeks. He was shot near the campus of James Madison University. Four additional arrests have been made. The suspects are facing charges ranging from aggravated malicious wounding to assault and battery by mob and gang participation.
